Sonali brings an exceptional combination of financial expertise, media experience, and strategic insight that will meaningfully strengthen LaunchPad’s work. With deep ties across the global finance community and years spent shaping the narratives that move markets, she understands both how industries evolve and how young talent can find their place within them. Her leadership arrives at a pivotal moment as LaunchPad continues expanding pathways for young adults to build careers in finance, content creation, entertainment, sports, and additional high-opportunity fields.
At iCapital, Sonali leads the firm’s strategic thought leadership across public and private markets; delivering data-driven insights and actionable guidance to advisors, investors, and asset managers worldwide. Her ability to break down complex trends into clear, accessible direction aligns directly with LaunchPad’s commitment to making industries more navigable and more open to emerging talent.
Before joining iCapital, Sonali was Bloomberg Television’s lead global finance correspondent and anchor. She hosted Open Interest, led Bloomberg Invest, authored the widely followed Wall Street, By Basak. newsletter, and created the docuseries Bullish. Her storytelling, her rigor, and her ability to connect with industry leaders will bring unmatched guidance as LaunchPad continues growing its platform, its reach, and its impact.
