LaunchPad Program Manager
Reports to: LaunchPad President
Status: Full-time, exempt
Location: Stamford, CT (On-Site)
Compensation: $45,000-$55,000 commensurate with experience

Position Summary
The Program Manager is the central driver of LaunchPad’s programs, partnerships, and impact. This is a hands-on management role that blends program design and operations, data and impact reporting, marketing and communications, and strategic growth. Working closely with the President and key stakeholders, the Program Manager ensures that every participant experience—from career discovery events to the fellowship program—runs smoothly, is well-documented, and leads to measurable outcomes such as internships, job placements, and sustained career success.
What you will do:
Coordinate events and program logistics — handle planning, scheduling, and on-site/tactical operations for the annual Summit, Career Discovery events, and ongoing virtual sessions.
Support the fellowship journey by tracking participant progress, ensuring timely communication, and maintaining accurate program records.
Manage program systems and data, including entering, updating, and reporting on participant information to demonstrate outcomes.
Assist with communications and content creation — draft newsletters, blog posts, and social media updates; help maintain the website.
Provide logistical and administrative support for program activities, including vendor coordination and capturing photos/video at key moments.
Build relationships with stakeholders and partners through clear, consistent communication and responsive support.
Who You Are:
Highly organized, self-starting, and entrepreneurial
Deeply curious
Professional experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree
Preferably some relevant program or project management experience
Further preference for nonprofit, workforce development, or education settings
Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Skilled at using data to measure impact and tell stories
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable with public speaking and storytelling
